I’ve noticed that the opensubtitles.org feature only works for movies/series that have their metadata loaded. If for whatever reason that’s not present, one cannot select search for one. It would be great to eliminate that restriction and do a basic search based on the file name (potentially allowing the search term to be edited). In most cases that I’ve tried a subtitle is present.
+1 I don’t see this as a real problem, however there is no reason not to implement it.
This is a big issue… A lot of my movies’ metadata are wrong and do not match the actual movie I have, therefore I can’t find the real subtitle for the movie. Although it is fixable when you manually choose the correct metadata.
Have you tried correcting the metadata as described here?
