this is the second apple TV2 I’m trying to jailbreak, but on a different computer. First device was jailbroken without a problem, but I’m having issues on this computer with iTunes showing a (-1) error as soon as the restoring process starts. Just as the status bar for restoring starts, iTunes cancels the progress and shows the error. I’ve tried using a laptop instead, but I’m getting the dreaded 3194 error. Not sure why, considering that Apple is supposedly signing 5.0.2 again.
I’ve downloaded the latest Seas0nPass and created the IPSW using it, I’m using the latest 11.0.1 iTunes. I also deleted my Kaspersky Internet Security, thinking that it might have been causing issues, but no help. Tried using iReb to get the device into DFU mode, but that doesn’t help either. Also, after connecting the device with the TV, I get the “Connect to iTunes” logo.
