Reconnect shares automatically?

I have an SMB share working fine, until my server restarts or sleeps or whatever.  Then the AppleTV says “error connecting to…” until I reboot the appletv so it can remount the share, and then it works fine again.  Is there a way to get this done automatically, or a button on the “error conneting to…” screen to remount the share instead of having to reboot all the time?  It is a pain.

I get this all the time too - I’ve filed it as a bug report with Firecore, but they haven’t done anything about it yet.

You actually don’t have to reboot the AppleTV to remount the share, just hit the Menu button on your remote when you get the error, then select the share again and it will open right up. At least that’s been my experience.
