A foolish JB question

Question about the tethered JB for ATV2. I know to boot the device it needs to be tethered. Does waking from sleep have same requirement? I’m guessing if the device is simply resuming and not booting, then tethering would not be needed, but I wanted to make sure. As said, a bit of a foolish question (is there a ‘moron of the forum’ badge available? :D)

Only time you will need to connect it to boot tethered is in the following circumstances

  • power outage/disconnect power cable

  • restart the device (menu+down arrow)
