Personally I almost never need subtitles in TV shows as the shows I watch either have burn it subtitles or are 100% English speaking so I’d like to never see them. Movies on the other hand quite frequently have subtitles for non english parts, or whatever, and I’d like them to appear if they’re available.
The problem is it’s too granular at the moment on / off or forced only (and almost never are subtitles forced only). Would it be possible to change the subtitles option to be something like On / Off / Forced Only / TV Shows Only / Movies Only? This way you can say
On: Always shows if available in everything
TV Shows Only: Always shows if available but only for TV shows
Movies Only: Always shows if available but only for Movies
Forced Only: Always show if forced flag present
Off: Never shows ever
Make any sense?
