Same problem here!!!!! Come on guys is there an answer to this. I wake-up my entire household when I go to watch a movie and the static noise comes pumping out at a million decibels!
9 hrs today trying to figure this out, this really SUCKS that they don't fix the bug..................
Please try the following.
1. Change 'File Playback Mode' to Quicktime (located in nitoTV --> Settings --> General.
2. If your AppleTV is NOT connected to an Dobly Digital AV receiver disable the 'AC3 Passthrough' (located in Maintenance --> Settings).
3. Disable the 'Apple H.264' option (located in Maintenance --> Settings).
4. Restart the AppleTV.
I tried this and still no sound. Any new fixes??
