I’m new to Infuse and had a look, but I couldn’t see this topic already. If there is one, my apologies, please merge/delete as you see fit.
I’m really liking Infuse and in particular the support of .strmlnk files. It’s allowing me to integrate my Apple purchases with local files which is really cool.
I know that .strmlnks are just plain text URLs, so I tried changing the tv.apple.com url to the Apple TV app’s x-callback URL of “videos://”. Then clicking the ‘open’ button on a details page in Infuse did in fact open the TV app, but only to the homepage of course. I’m wondering if anyone has figured out how to deep link to a particular item in the TV app or if this is possible?
Weird scenario on my end, but I don’t have a web browser on one of my iPads - I like having one ‘offline’ entertainment-focused device. Had to enable Safari for the standard https://tv.apple.com strmlnk not to fail, but it would be nice, if proper deep linking, maybe even playing worked via x-callbacks… Not a suggestion to Firecore of course, more so for anyone who might have tinkered with deep linking before.
