Will we see a seasonpass version for newer firmwares?

Seasonpass is THE tool to use when you want to jailbreak an AppleTV device. It's been a while since the last version came out. And the firmware development for AppleTV continues constantly.

Yesterday Apple released version 6.1 (iOS 7.1 - 11D169b)

Can we expect something new from the Seasonpass team in the (near) future? I don't expect a date, but I am just curious if Seasonpass is still in development?

The Evasi0n7 team released a jailbreak for iOS 7.1 today (http://www.evasioniosjailbreak.com/)

It hasn't been so long since the last version of Seas0nPass came out - the last was published on January 4, 2014 (yes, I'm talking about jailbreak for Apple TV version 5.3 relased on June 19, 2013)...

SeasonPass is updated when the jailbreaking community release a new jailbreak for the ATV2 as it is merely a friendly packaging of such jailbreaks.    Therefore until the jailbreaking community (e.g. Evasion7) announce a new jailbreak for the ATV2 do not expect SeasonPass to be updated.

FYI the evasi0n team have not released any jailbreak for iOS 7.1 and what you have linked to is actually malware.

Naughty.

I update my ATV3 whenever there's a newly released firmware.  That way I can see what's new yet leave my jailbroken ATV2 alone.  By switching between devices, there's not much reason for ever wanting a new jailbreak, especially every time Apple releases a new firmware.
