Why does Infuse not open Favorites (folders) directly, even when the NAS is (still) in sleep state?

Hi @james ,

I’ve set my NAS to go into sleep when not in use.
Then when I want to watch something in Infuse and try to go into one of my favorites, it takes several seconds (to minutes) until I’m in and can see all the posters.
Why is it like that?
Doesn’t Infuse use a local (on the Apple TV) database?

If you are browsing the folders directly Infuse would need to load the data from the drives before it shows any data.

If you were to browse using the Library then this would load instantly whether the drive was sleeping or awake. Of course the drive would need to be awake in order to actually play any content.

FWIW, if you add the MAC address to the share settings page in Infuse the Wake-on-LAN (WoL) feature can be used and this can reduce the amount of time it takes for a device to wake when Infuse tries to access it.
