Can someone tell me where the trailers actually come from? If it’s some sort of public API I’d like to be able to add trailers myself. So many movies don’t have trailers and I’m sick of seeing ‘No trailer available’ when clicking on it to the point I’ve just turned it off.
Infuse is paying for a third party trailer service where studios are providing the trailers. I’m not sure the exact service but if there is no trailer then either the studio didn’t release one for your language, or they didn’t want to provide one, or the service provider didn’t reach out to get one for that title.
For the movies I want to add trailers to I use the custom edition tags of trailer for example I name the trailer file the same as the movie filename with {edition-Trailer} included.
It’s an easy solution if you don’t have many to do.
Doesn’t that just add the trailer under the files list for the film and not when you click on the Trailer button?
That’s not good. So basically hardly any films that aren’t from the US will have trailers.
