With the new icon style of iOS5 why would you need overflow? Anyways it is a 3rd party plugin and you would need to ask the developer.
Hi Matty,
I am kind of use to this Overflow option to hide my few Apple TV’s icon such as Computers, Internet, Movies, Music, TV Shows and nitoTV. My second Apple TV 2 is 5.xx and I am not sure how to make folder like Overflow and place those icons inside?
Please let me know if you have any idea to creating folder in Apple TV2 that will be wonderful.
Thanks for your help and fast response.

I found this works well if just removing unused icons (MLB, etc).
It’s no overflow though, once removed from the dash, they can’t be accessed until restored.
I found it a nice way to get rid of all the unused icons.
Thanks for your post and link, but it would be sooo much easier clicking a button
I do not want to delete any icons but rather use similar application such as Overflow or FireCore could built in App in Maintanance.
Thanks again,
JR
IOS6 supposedly lets you re-arrange the icons, there’s a video of it on YouTube and somewhere on these forums. With that being built into the next version it’s unlikely the author of that plugin will continue to update it, or FireCore would implement it.
I want to hide few icons but do not want to re-arrange. Also I want to keep my firmware version 5.0.1
Thanks for your reply and suggestion.
Did you read the thread?
Thanks matty,
I appreciated for your help and support.

i just dont understand how people would even expect overflow to work. the whole premise was based on the text/hierarchy based navigation in the pre 5.0 versions that no longer exists… where is it going to overflow to? two menus deeper? its just not going to happen, theres no logical way to do it.
on top of that, there is a whole new paradigm. (which is also what prevents easily shifting stuff from the top shelf to lower shelves and visa versa) everything on the top shelf is an “appliance” everything on the lower shelves are “merchants” those wouldnt even properly work when shoved inside an appliance, things would go haywire.
that being said, an easier way to hide icons you dont want? that may happen. shifting built in merchants (netflix, mlb, vimeo, etc…) onto the top shelf? unless apple implements it themsleves, i doubt it will ever happen.
and no the new re-arranging code in iOS 6 does /not/ allow you to move netflix and those kind of merchants to the top shelf, only re-arranging below.
