WebDAV streams freezing after 10–20 minutes (Real-Debrid, Torbox, Zurg)

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with Infuse where playback consistently freezes or gets stuck buffering in the middle of a movie or episode. I’m posting here to see if anyone else is facing the same problem or if this is already a known issue.

What happens:
• Videos start playing smoothly with quick loading times.
• Between 10 to 20 minutes into playback, the video suddenly freezes or enters an infinite buffering loop.
• Once it freezes, seeking forward or backward does not fix it. I have to close the player and restart the video.

My Setup:
• Sources: Direct WebDAV (Real-Debrid & Torbox), .strm files via Zurg, and using Infuse as an external player from other apps.
• Streaming Cache: Set to Memory Only (setting it to ‘Auto’ causes lag and makes scrubbing slow, so Memory Only is the only smooth option for me).
• CDN: Tested different CDN settings on Real-Debrid, but the freezes still happen.

Comparison with other players:
When using the exact same links on other players (like VidHub, Outplayer, or VLC), playback is 100% stable through the entire movie with zero freezes. This issue only happens when using Infuse.

Is anyone else experiencing this same behavior with WebDAV streams? Has this been reported before or is there any known workaround?

Thanks for any help!

If you are able to send in a report from your device (and post the code here) we can look further into what may be going on here.

Code HTWZ1.

Is this all you need @james ?

Any news on this @james ?

Today’s 8.5.1 update includes a number of improvements and optimizations for WebDAV streaming, so I’d definitely recommend installing the update and seeing how things work for you.
