Whenever I stream a 55 GB movie file from a local Wifi 5 Ghz network/signal it buffers every now and then. Is this normal ?
I am using SMB.
Anyway to prevent it from buffering please at all ?
Have you tried the 2.4G band?
If both devices are wireless then you’ll run into issues on files with a high bitrate. You can run Speed test on the file in question. Anything under 55Mbps is poor. You’ll need 100Mbps+ for 4K files and possibly higher for full disc remuxes
