Watch status not syncing between Apple TVs

Two Apple TVs. Watch history, to the best of my recollection, has never worked for me. I watch a TV show or a movie on one Apple TV, and the watch status does not sync to the other one. I install Infuse on my Mac, and it has the exact same issue. What I’ve noticed is that if I play a movie and stop in between, that particular status will sync. For example, if I watch 15 minutes of something, the other Apple TV will sync the 15 min mark watch status. But if I finish season 1 episode 5 on one Apple TV, the other Apple TV will show episode 5 as unwatched. Same with movies.

I’ve no idea what is causing this, but this is one of the features of the paid tier, so I would love some help on this.

I’d first check to make sure that the same user ID is the default on all apple TVs then maybe run through the users guide to make sure everything is setup correctly.

Also maybe provide the actual version numbers of Infuse and tvOS

All logged in the same account. All running the latest version of Infuse. All running tvOS 26.1 or iPad OS 26.1

Are all using the default user on ATV?
What version number of Infuse?

Are the devices completing the iCloud sync when you open Infuse before you check? You can monitor this on the library settings page to see when the last iCloud sync was completed.
