View photos on internal drive

I sent a few photos thru winscp (/mnt/Scratch/Users/frontrow/Pictures) but I cant find them to view on the tv. Please help.

If you manually put anything in there, the only programs you could use to view them would be Boxee or XBMC. There is a Photos folder found in /mnt/Media/ but that Photos folder is only for iTunes Syncing. iTunes has to edit the Photo Library file on the AppleTV to point the AppleTV to those photos. The AppleTV is supposed to work with iTunes only so Apple locks it down pretty well.
