Videos initially start to stutter and then freeze

I have been a big fan of Infuse for AppleTV for years and had very few issues. Now suddenly after this 8.5 and even 8.5.1 I cannot use Infuse on my latest gen AppleTV4k devices. Both are connected via fast Ethernet. I have a share SMB set up from my Mac mini M4 also on fast ethernet.

Videos initially start to stutter and then freeze. I uninstalled Infuse 5 times on two different AppleTV’s and reset my SMB share settings and spent 25 hours trying to fix it. Tried all the different settings in Infuse. These are videos stored on my SSD’s connected to my MAC. They work fine on Infuse on my MAC. They work fine over SMB share on my TV in VLC and AppleTV via VLC again with same SMB share.
ONLY INFUSE 8.5/8.5.1 THEY FAIL.

NOW I AM ABOUT TO GIVE UP AS CAN NO LONGER USE INFUSE ON APPLETV LATEST GEN.

YOUR SUPPORT KEEPS ASKING SEND US THE VIDEOS, BUT I WORK AT HOME FOR A COMPANY AND CANNOT SEND VIDEOS OUT AS NOT MY PROPERTY.

Can you help???/???

If you don’t have any non company videos you can send in then maybe download and try one of the files here Test signals and see if it exhibits the same problem then send that one in if it too has the same issue.

Also you may want to run a diagnostics in Infuse after a freeze and post the 5 digit code here in this thread.

One other thing that may help is to run one of the known problem videos through mediainfo and post the results here in this thread.
