Hi. This is for Infuse on Apple TV.
For many TV shows (and movies), I have 2 versions, typically:
- a 1080p SDR version,
- a 4K HDR10 or Dolby Vision version.
For movies, Infuse makes it very easy to select the correct version.
For TV shows, it is a bit more difficult: 2 versions of an episode appear as 2 different episodes, with the only difference being the media characteristics and the file name.
For most shows, you can the the media details when browsing through episodes.
But, for shows with a small-height title (and long episode descriptions?), Infuse puts a very large empty area between the row with the “play” and “trailer” button and the season number.
…therefore, when you select an episode, you do not see the media details or file name.
You have to move up to see the media details, then back down to select the other version.
This happens with shows such as “The Defiant Ones" or “The Diplomat”, which have wide, low-height logos.
It’d be a lot less annoying if the unused empty space before the season numbers was reduced, and the media details therefore visible when browsing through episodes.
