Greetings. I am using Infuse Pro (latest version) on a MacBook Pro, with my videos ripped from DVDs and Blu-ray’s to ISO files on an external hard disk array (not networked). From the MacBook Pro I use an HDMI cable to my Marantz home theater, and from that to a smart TV. I am having problems getting surround sound audio to the home theater. Using a different app to play the ISO file, I DO get surround sound, so I wonder if there is a problem with the way I have Infuse Pro set up on my MacBook Pro. I would appreciate any helpful comments leading to a solution in my situation. Thanks in advance!
The macOS version of Infuse does not currently support passthrough, but this may be something we look at adding in the future.
If you were to use an Apple TV connected to the TV/receiver you would be able to get multi-channel sound.
More info on the available audio options can be found here.
Get an AppleTV 4k. You would be amazed by the experience…
