User switching on tvOS is also broken for Plex Home account switching, as I mentioned in this thread. I installed an older 8.3.8 TestFlight build, and it’s similarly unreliable there.
I’m not 100% certain, but I’m inclined to think this is due to Apple’s buggy implementation. User profile switching feels half-baked, to put it mildly: for example, the App Store region sometimes doesn’t change when I switch between users, along with the other issues I listed in the linked thread.
