Upgrade Jailbroken ATV2 4.4.4 to 5.2

Is it possible to upgrade a jailbroken ATV2 running 4.4.4 to 5.2?

I have blobs saved for 4.4.4 and previous firmware versions but unfortunately not for 5.2.

I want to upgrade but not at the expense of loosing my untethered jailbreak so 5.2.1 is not an option.

If you don’t have shsh blobs you can’t install that firmware. Period.

Maybe you should give this a shot if you are lucky, Maybe iwas lucky  , i tried the cydia blobs using ifaith 1.5.6

I Finally jaibreaked ATV2 UNTHETEHRED to Ios 6.1 (5.2) 10b144B, Installed Nito TV, & XBMC frodo 12.1 .  Using Seasons Pass never worked. Always give 3194 error 

Here is my story ,like everybody  i accidentally  restored the stock apple firmware 6.1. 3 (5.2.1) last 23rd  .I downgraded to 4.4.2 using Ped’s Method Thethered. It worked well but doing a thethered boot was very hard .

I Restored Back to the Stock Apple firmware 6.1. 3 (5.2.1) again the socond  time yesterday

1.Save the blobs of  6.1. 3 (5.2.1) Using Ifaith 1.5.6 & ising Tiny umbrella 6.2.2 . Ifaith will say saving the blobs to cydia & to your computer…

2. Next  I Use ifaith to download Ios 6.1 (5.2 ) Cydia blobs and saved it to a folder on my destop

3. Create IPSW with stock apple 10b144b & using Ios 6.1 (5.2 ) Cydia blobs named xxxxxxx_Apple_TV_2-5.2_(10B144b)-blobs.ifaith

4. I shift restore using itunes latest ver 11 in Windows 7 32 bit pro

5. Successfully downgraded to Ios 6.1 (5.2 ) Apple STOCK FIRMWARE. and not jailbroken yet. Dont unplug anything yet (the usb & the power still plugged in)If possible quickly re-save the blobs again .

6. To jailbreak I use snowbreeze to create 00xxxxxxxx_sn0wbreeze_Apple_TV_2-5.2-10B144b_signed.ipsw and using the  cydia blobs. Let it run for awhile & it will be created on the desktop

8 Shift restor using Itunes 11 . restored successfull when i looked at apple tv logs although  it returns error 1602 but i just ignore it. Led light stabilize

use nito installer to detect its ip adddress af ATV2, can Shsh using putty to install xbmc 12.1.

Nito will tell you if its jailbroken or not

How can you get Tinyumbrella version 6.2.2?. I just know they released v6.1.2.

Sorry there Android its Tiny Umbrella 6.1.2 ( tinyumbrella-6.12.00.exe)

I believe that the one labelled 6.1.4 is actually the 5.3 firmware. The later one will be a 6.x release of firmware. On that basis you cannot go to 5.2 as there is no corresponding shsh blobs.
