unsuccessful of ripped dvd with cyber duck to apple tv

I have ripped 3 dvd’s onto my hard drive movies. I then want to transfer it to my apple tv using cyber duck. It starts the process but then says it cant find the connection. Other movies have been successful. Interestingly the 3 failed ones are star wars 1, 2 and 6 but star wars 3,4 and 5 were successfully transferred. Any ideas as i would like to watch episodes 1 - 6 in order?

I’m having the same problem. Cyberduck worked for me in the past, then just stopped being able to connect to Apple TV. Has this happened to anyone else?

I’ve had some of the same issues. Although the Cyberduck connection has been stable I have run into an issue with some of my DVD rips. They load onto the external drive via ftp just fine but when selected, will skip the DVD menu altogether and begin to ‘autoplay’. When I try to click back via the menu button on the Apple Remote the screen will flash green, display the ‘rainbow pizza of death’ and then revert back to the hard drive contents page. None of my Matrix DVDs will display menus but Ironman (on the external drive connected to the AppleTV) and Wall-E (on the AppleTV internal drive) are just fine.

You may try re-running the Smart Installer and restarting the AppleTV. This should resolve any DVD playback issues you are seeing.
