Unable to connect to Emby

I’ve been using an Emby share with Infuse for years without any problems, but suddenly today I am getting the message “Unable to Connect To Emby.” I haven’t changed anything, and I’m very confused as to what has gone wrong or how to fix it! I have restarted the Emby server and the machine running it (Mac Mini). I get the same error on all my clients. I am running Emby server version 4.9.3.0 and the latest updated version of Infuse on all my devices. What am I doing wrong?

Please help! Thank you!

For anyone who may come across this post who’s having the same issue, I was able to fix this by just adding a new share of the same Emby server. No idea what went wrong

The issue of not being able to reconnect has been normalized with the current solution. I’m looking forward to a better day, but you shouldn’t set the post as resolved. This won’t improve the situation at all.

I agree, except there are so many things that could have caused this to happen, most of which aren’t Infuse’s fault

One thing that may help is to assign your server a static IP with your router and use that number instead of the network name. Sometimes a router will assign a new dynamic IP address if the device goes offline and comes back to the network. It can also add an addendum to the network name when the device goes off network for what ever reason. (Like ATV.local may be changed to ATV(1).local)

Edit to add, I don’t use Emby, I just use a NAS but this may still apply.
