Unable to access to OpenSubtitles

I don’t know if it is related to 8.0.1 but I can no longer get subtitles for any movie in my library.

I get a « check your internet connection » error, but the AppleTV is connected.

Have you tried restarting the ATV? Sometimes after an update things get scrambled and a restart can help get things back in order.

I restarted, and also tested with and without my VPN turned on. No luck so far :disappointed:

Today, all of a sudden, when I use Infuse 8 on my Apple TV and try to search for other subtitles, I get an error saying it’s unable to access OpenSubtitles and asks me to check my network connection. I’m located in Japan, and the error code is HGC6Y. Could anyone help me look into this?

I am using a Mac mini with infuse. It says “Unable to access OpenSubtitles. Check your internet connection and try again.” I am in China.

It looks like they may be having problems with their service. Try again in a little while. :wink:

OpenSubtitles confirmed they were having some server related issues over the weekend, but they believe these have now been fully resolved.
