UI improvement suggestion

On the Apple TV app, with ‘details view’ set to ‘new’, I am encountering a UI frustration when viewing TV shows with multiple seasons.

Suppose I scroll down to season 2 of a show. I’d like to scroll sideways between episodes, but still be able to see the detail in the header above, particularly the running time of the highlighted episode. I’m not sure if this is TV size specific, but on my 55” TV, by the time I scroll down to the season 2 episodes, the header information is now cut off, so I need to scroll back up again to see that. It’s particularly frustrating in shows where episodes have different running times, as that information is completely cut off.

It seems to me that reducing the gap in the UI between the header and the season select row would solve this. By header, I mean the episode information in the top left of the UI with description, ratings etc.

It is NOT your tv, it is Infuse. I have a smaller one with the same « problem ».

And I completely agree with you.

Update: I’ve discovered this is only an issue on shows without their own logos. When a logo is present, the spacing is sufficient for the episode timings to be visible when scrolling horizontally through episodes.

Maybe so. Still, we shouldn’t have to get our own poster to see it. Why then allowing us to use the web-base databases?

It doesn’t make sense

This is now solved with the new layout on the latest update - thanks!
