How can I put two movies equal one in 1080 and one in 4k in the same folder?
Here is What I do. I name all my movies after the same system, for example: 2001 A Space Odyssey (UHD) (1968) and 2001 A Space Odyssey (Blu-Ray) (1968).
It would be better to put the resolution after the year released instead of before. For example “2001 A Space Odyssey (1968) (UHD).ext” to follow the guidelines for Infuse Metadata 101 – Firecore Support
Infuse Looks at info before the release year as probably part of the actual movie name.
Maybe you’re right, but I have never experienced any problems with my namegiving (4 Synology Nas, 10000+ titles and counting over 120 TB).
And I’m just trying to follow what Firecore has recommended and also what I’ve found to work better than having other info between the name of a movie and the release year. What you have may work but why vary from what the recommendations are? If you’re a user starting out it’s best to follow the recommendations.
