tvOS 17 player problem

I upgraded both my appleTVs to tvOS 17 after I verified everything works on it and then updated the second one.

I missed a few things:

  1. playing a cropped HDR file and only the middle area was active - meaning the very top and bottom of the screen were missing (black) - the infuse menu and scrubbing interface were just cropped - only their middle appears.

  2. I’m seeing some micro judder on the very same file.

Here is the video part of the media info:

If you’re playing Dolby Vision on a TV that does not support DoVi (like Samsung) you may try disabling the ‘Extended Dolby Vision’ option (found in Infuse > Settings) to avoid potential issues with the Apple TV sending DoVi video output.

I would also check to ensure the Match Content options are still enabled, as these can sometimes get toggled off when installing OS updates.

You’re right, if I disable extended Dollby vision, it works correctly.
