I have attached a few pictures to hopefully make it clearer what my problem is but in my list of favourites the automatically created TV Shows section doesn’t show all of my TV Shows. I have manually added TV Show favourites called TV Shows 4K and TV Shows which show the shows just fine. They are recognised OK and the metadata is added fine but in the section which should then show all of my TV shows, some aren’t showing up. I would understand it if infuse didn’t recognise them as shows but it does. I’ve checked they’re named correctly which they are. If they weren’t I guess infuse wouldn’t recognise them.
As you can see in the pictures. In my manually added favourite I have the TV shows Automan, Monty Pythons Flying Circus, Thundercats and Battlestar Galactica all of which have been recognised and pulled the correct metadata but none of them show in the main section TV Shows which infuse automatically populates.
First, how are you connected to the share? SMB, DLNA, etc
Second could you provide a sample of one of the file names that isn’t appearing correctly?
Lastly, under Infuse Settings > Library make sure you have “Show Library” checked and below that make sure there is a check mark by all shares you want included in the Infuse Library.
Can you try using the Edit option on one of the episodes from the affected series, and see if this allows the shows to appear correctly in the Library? Doing this will refresh the metadata for the entire series.
I have exactly the same problem. Once I upload the “folder.jpg” as a artwork into the folder it will use it but wont fetch online metadata for folder and it looks the same as in your case. Additional info maybe, I am using SMB protocol and connecting to my brother Time Capsule. For my brother it works fine, for my Dad it works fine, for me, unfortunatelly not and some of the shows wont fetch the metadata. I have tried uninstall, change every setting, delete and add the Time Capsule share again, nothing seems to help Please anybody advise
