TV Shows Metadata showing Movie Results

TV Series: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003)

So, having a few issues but this one is the screwiest. When this shows up in the list of TV Shows, it shows the folder name, exactly how it is listed in thetvdb - it is then broken into seasons as per the other notes about this - and then into files for each season labeled as stated on this site.

So, no metadata shows up. scratches head

I go and edit the metadata and when I search for the TV Show - it gives me all the TMNT Movies but none of the shows.

This is happening for a few shows, and what I find interesting is they all have movies with the same title:

Another example above - and I have about 6 of these.

The other issue which has been mentioned before is I have folders that show up in the root of “TV Shows” (Eg: Agent Carter, Sherlock (BBC)) that show no metadata for the series but do for the seasons. I can add a folder.jpg to fix it inside the show folder, but it seems to work for others.

Any suggestions?

OK, so, after a LOT of fooling around with this there are “tricks”

Using the Ninja Turtles as an example - the folder needs to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003)
Then you have Season 1 - Season 2 - etc…
then under there - you need the file to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003) - S01E01 - EPISODE NAME

it is all about the naming conventions - it takes a bit to get used to the logic used but it does make sense… if anyone is having issues, post the EXACT show you are looking for, prefer with the IMDb or tvdb link and I will help you sort out the naming conventions
