Tv show viewport entered from Watching didn't remove "renamed" or "deleted" file even if library has been updated

This bug really annoy me a long time and seems like infuse 8 updates not resolve this yet.
Step to reproduce:

  1. add a folder contains at least one show files which can be recognize by infuse correctly.
  2. watch what ever episode you like and exit, this show then shows on watching section.
  3. rename the files of shows, then refresh library, i mean scan for changes.
  4. now, the view port of this show, when you open from watching, it will duplicate renamed episode, others are correct, if you open from other places like recently added, unwatched, or directly from TV Shows thumbnail, it will show the renamed file correctly.

here is screenshot from macOS version but same on Apple TV.

I remove the ‘1080p’ in middle of name of the files, and duplicated viewport is enter from watching, another one is from Recently added. I don’t use mac version so much so all folder and library is just for test, not much, but apple tv version is the same situation with more contents.

When you remove the file the situation is same, I delete the file of episode 16, screenshot also provide in imgur from above link.

Any developer can help address this issue and plan to fix it qwq, big thanks, love everything else of this app! Great ui, great format support, everything.

If you have deleted (or renamed files) and the old files are still appearing in the Up Next List you can right-click on an item and select the ‘Remove from Watching’ option (or click the bookmark icon which appears on the videos’s details page) to remove the item from Up Next.

So is this a workaround for now or somehow the implementation of Up Next List didn’t support that kind of detect so we can only walk this way and auto detect in Watching will not add to plan? Thanks for quick reply!

There are some scenarios where automatically removing this item would not be ideal (for example if the file was on an external drive and the drive was temporarily disconnected or powered off) so changing this behavior would require some careful thought.

Using the ‘Remove from Watching’ option should allow you to workaround cases where this is happening.

That’s make sense, thanks!
