TV Collections from Plex (Library Mode) not appearing

I am currently using Infuse 8.2 on iOS, iPadOS, and TvOS connected to my Plex server in Library mode. All of my movie collections from Plex have carried over and are displayed in Infuse but my custom TV collections (made in Plex) are not appearing in my library.

I have all my collections in Plex set to hide items in the collections but show the collection. This works for movies but in Infuse, all of my TV shows are visible but the collections are not. However, when I go into files on iOS and navigate to the plex TV shows, the collection is there and the items within it are hidden as expected.

Bumping for visibility. No idea why Plex (library mode) TV collections won’t appear in my Infuse library but they can be found via the share.

Hello everyone,

It looks like my TV Shows collections from Plex are not visible in Infuse.

I have imported my Plex Server in Infuse and I’m using Library Mode (since I read Collections from Plex were not supported with Direct Mode). This Plex Server is composed of 2 collections: Movies and TV Shows.

Here are screenshots from my Plex Server settings, which shows collections are present and should be detected in Infuse (at least, that’s my understanding of it, but correct me if I’m wrong, I’m still new with Infuse).

When I add the “Collections” section in the Home in Infuse, I only see a limited number of collections :

Those are my custom collections from the Movies library, but nothing for the collections from the TV Shows library.

This is a screenshot from the macOS app but the behavior is more or less consistent in the Apple TV app, with the only difference that in the Apple TV app, when I go in the “Favorites” row and go into the TV Shows library (that has been favorites from my Plex Server), there I can see, among the different TV Shows, the collections, cfr screenshots here:

However, on macOS, when going into the “Files” tab :

In TV Shows, I can’t see those collections as it’s the case on the Apple TV. On the other hand, for Movies, the collections are there.

This situation is a bit puzzling so I was wondering if maybe there was something I was missing?

I must mention that I don’t have the Plex Pass, and I’m currently not subscribed to Infuse Pro. My reasoning with the Infuse Pro subscription is that I want to first test that I can achieve everything I want with the UI customization and collections management before subscribing)

I put this in the ‘General’ category since this doesn’t seem to be platform specific. But feel free to redirect it if there is another category I missed that is more relevant.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Raphael

I posted about the same problem. +1

Glad to know I’m not the only one. Did you have any interesting info / leads on your thread?

I haven’t figured anything out. I have tried messing all of the same settings as you but no dice. Its odd that infuse recognizes the collections in the shares but doesn’t pull them into the library.

Anyone by chance know anything about this?

@james Any insight? My post went without a response as well.
