I am not always connected to wifi and I actually have it turned off when I know that there is no network around to connect to.
However, the app insists on showing a pop-up nagging me either disable airplane mode or turn on wifi when I launch the app or go back to it.
Very annoying, especially since it’s modal.
This has still not been fixed. The very annoying side effect is – if a video was paused prior to coming out of the app – then it resumes in the background while the pop-up appears over the top.

I would also welcome this change. This would enhance the user experience for Infuse and support people who use it in cases like this. VLC already behaves more smoothly in cases where the users device is in Airplane Mode. Implementing this will create another plus for Infuse.
