Trying to setup Infuse and home screen settings do not seem to work

Hi, I am new to Infuse, when thru the help tutorial after I couldn’t figure out how to get entries other than Favorites on the home screen. Still not putting anything on home except Favorites.
Using 7.8.1 on a new Apple 4k TV with Ethernet.
Using Plex as my backend media server
Signed up for a monthly subscription to see if this would work for us
My Home screen is Edited to show:

TVShows
Movies
Favorites
Recently Added Movies
Recently Added TV Shows

But after saving, only the Favorites choice shows up on the screen. I have rebooted the device. Gone into Plex Client, then back to Infuse, no change, only Favorites show.

The only way I can see the tvshow and movies folder is inside the Favorites. And they are sorta ugly folders. I want them to show on the main screen when Infuse starts. That seems like it should be normal as there is a way to edit the home screen. What am I doing wrong?? -Bill

It sounds like you may be using plex in direct mode.

See if this thread may shed some light on things. I believe in Direct mode all of your choices are made in the plex server since in Direct mode Infuse is a Player only.

Yes, its seems to have defaulted to that and I just found the setting for enabling library mode… Its in Edit Share Advanced Library Mode on.

I knew it couldn’t look like it did and attract users… Tks Bill
