I‘m still incredible grateful that Siri commands like „Rewind 50 seconds“ were finally implemented earlier this year.
However now with tvOS 18 a bug from the past reappeared where the screensaver comes on every now and then when I use voice commands and the video keeps playing in the background.
Experienced this on two different Apple TVs running 18.0 already, with the latest version of Infuse installed.
I wonder if it’s a tvOS bug. I just was at the movie details page, but hadn’t touched it for several minutes, I hit the back button and it went back then immediately went to screensaver. Obviously, if I clicked on the remote, it should prevent screensaver from enabling
I wonder if Infuse is interfering with screen saver some how and when you interact with Infuse it allows tvOS to flip to screen saver.
As an experiment could you let your ATV sit on the movie detail page for longer than what you have the screen savers set for and see if it does go to screen saver as it should or if it sits on the page until you interact with Infuse after the time is exceeded?
