I recently switched from Plex to Emby and I’m having an issue getting Trakt to work in infuse. It was working fine with Plex. I authorized infuse on my account and also authorized the emby server but still not having any luck. Any suggestions?
Can you provide a bit more info on what you are seeing?
For a bit of background, when using a media server like Emby, Jellyfin, or Plex Infuse will use the watch status as set on those servers for tracking what is and isn’t watched (or in progress). Logging into Trakt in Infuse will allow you to sync things which have been watched in Infuse to Trakt, but Infuse will not pull info from Trakt when using one of these media server connections.
More info on using Trakt in Infuse can be found here.
Ahh ok. Is it not possible to do it the other way around? That seems like it would ideal. That way you’d have a universal watch list synced into infuse no matter what server you use.
It would work with a direct connection set up in Infuse (eg SMB, NFS, FTP, WebDAV, or cloud service) but when using a media server Infuse will rely on that as the ‘source of truth’ with regard to watched history.
There may be a way to sync the server with Trakt which could allow you to achieve what you are looking for.
