With the Trakt price increase there are going to be a lot of customers leaving Trakt.

I’d love to see Infuse take advantage of this situation and help users use alternative services.

Here are some alternatives being discussed on Reddit:

Ideally I’d love to see an open standard that I could plug into with Infuse and build my own system for this.

Would love to see a self hosting option be supported as well.

Not being tied to Trakt and having other options (especially self-hosted) would be fantastic.

Sadly this won’t work for my common use case of downloaded content to Infuse. Really want the integration with Infuse.

Simkl is pretty good for what it is. It has a lot of integration with other services and has good notification options. Works fine with Infuse if you’re running Plex, Jellyfin, or Emby.

Yeah, Simkl is the best option (waiting for Letterbox to add support for TV series, which they have confirmed, and for them to release public APIs).
