After playing a movie, going out to the movie’s page, and then back one more step to the Home Screen of Infuse, the text turns black. If you then turn on true black mode, the text becomes unreadable. Force closing the app and relaunching fixes this, making text white again.
Wanted to post this to see if anyone else has this issue, and to get it to the devs for investigation.

I now am running into this issue in light mode where after backing out from a movie’s info screen I get white text instead of the proper gray color

Also experiencing this with Infuse 8.0.9 on tvOS 18.2.1. Changes between dark mode and light mode neglect to change the text colour.

The background and fonts are both black, which makes it difficult to read. The fonts that should be white may appear black. Infuse8.0.9

FWIW I use system mode and switch from light mode to dark mode in the evening.

Well - good to know that I’m not alone with this very annoying problem. But as this already survived several Infuse and tvOS-Updates - is there a solution or a workaround?
Curious as to why not use the “Automatic” setting?
What is everyone who is seeing this issue using for the Infuse setting for “True Black” (on or off)
What setting on ATV under General for Appearance (Light, Dark, or Automatic)

With “True Black” turned on I get black text on black background… So it’s turned off.
What about Appearance on the ATV?
I use the automatic setting
I show true black in my original post. Apple TV settings have been Automatic for everything I’ve posted

With ATV Appearance set to light mode, the text in Infuse stays black and is readable. So it’s kind of workaround, but… it’s light mode, unfortunately
I understand, I was just trying to cover the bases on when it may rear it’s ugly head and what option combination may or may not affect it.
Thanks for checking!

Sorry. I use the automatic setting. It just changes dependant on time of day.
I did notice if I force close Infuse after the switch to light or dark mode you don’t get the issue. PITA needing to do that every time, though.

Not solved with version 8.1.
This thread is still tagged as researching so it’s still being looked into.
