Temporary 2x speed on Apple TV (like iOS has)

+1 to both comments above. I suggested the same improvement, along with another to reduce discomfort, in the 8.3.2 announcement thread:

Thank you for adding this, navigating through the menus was always a hassle. I’m much more likely to use the feature now.

If I can suggest two improvements:

1. The playback UI seems to stay visible no matter how long I hold, which is a bit annoying as the episode title & playback bar cover the subtitles. I’ve tried dozens of times to be sure, and the UI dismissed after a few seconds only once. Ideally, I think it should be dismissed/hidden instantly (in the same way hold to 2x speed works on iPhone/iPad).
2. Since it’s a physical click on the remote and not a touch, holding the select button on the remote for more than 10/15 secs can become a bit uncomfortable. I wonder if it would be better to “lock” to 2x speed instead. Meaning: hold the button to enable 2x speed (which would remain active when you lift your finger), then hold the button again to disable it and return to 1x speed. If feasible, this could either replace the current behavior, be added as a toggle option in the settings, or perhaps assigned to the play/pause button instead?
