Tap Left/Right on Siri Remote to Skip 10 Seconds

It would be nice to see Infuse support tap gestures on the Siri Remote, where a tap on the left side skips back 10 seconds and a tap on the right side skips forward 10 seconds, without requiring a physical click.

This behavior is already supported in Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, and YouTube, so users are already familiar with it.

For me, this makes navigation faster and more comfortable than clicking. Since not everyone may prefer this behavior, it could be offered as an option.

Have you tried going to the ATV Settings > Accessibility > Physical And Motor > Tap To Navigate > switch this to “On”?

Thanks, but I already have Tap to Navigate enabled.

What I’m referring to is a different way of triggering the 10-second skip actions. In apps like Netflix, Prime Video and HBO Max, simply tapping the far left or right edge of the Siri Remote clickpad triggers a 10-second skip backward or forward. These apps support both tap and click gestures for the same action, while Infuse currently only supports a physical click.
