Tags are driving me INSANE!

Why in the world does a tag of “disc1” and “disc2” show up as “Part 1” and “Part 2”??? I looked in the 101 Metadata info and it appears that every tag like “discX, partX, cdX” will automatically show up as a PART. Am I correct in saying if you really want it to show up as “Disc 1”, etc you have to use the {edition-Disc 1} tag???

Just checking, are they not two parts of the same movie? Tags are not supported for tv shows. What is the movie specifically? But yes, if you want to be exact, use edition tag.

Presumably because those tags all indicate a single media title was broken down into two or more parts (due to file-size constraints of the original distribution medium). But I can see where the defaulting to this specific term can lead to confusion when movies (usually — but not exclusively! — franchise properties … each unique singular media titles themselves) include that phrasing in their proper titles:

History of the World: Part 1 {Part 2}
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 {Part 1}
