Currently Infuse will succeed in indexing a file named “Avatar The Last Airbender - S01E01” but fail to index “Avatar The Last Airbender (2005) - S01E01” which is fairly common.
Not home to check, but try “Avatar The Last Airbender (2005) S01E01” instead (no dash)
Yeah I’m pretty sure I’ve seen that works. Preferably dashes wouldn’t matter though.
I can confirm that the filename
The Man in the High Castle (2015) - S01E01 - The New World.mkv will not be parsed correctly but removing the " (2015)" from the filename works.
Yes that is correct. For tv shows, only put the year in the title if it is also in the title at thetvdb.com. It is not used to search like it does for movies at TMDb.
I’m not sure that such a limitation is unavoidable. Along with titles with trailing periods, I strongly doubt the parser could not be improved to support such use cases.
This is available in Infuse 7.1 and later.
