Support for TheIntroDB.org

Request Summary

I propose integrating TheIntroDB as a metadata provider to automatically manage intro, recap, and outro skipping.

This solution could serve as a free and more accurate alternative to the data currently provided by Plex, Jellyfin, and similar platforms.

It would also be compatible with local media files, offering a complete and flexible solution.

We absolutely need this. Intro Skipper and built-in scanner for Jellyfin both suck and regularly get the timestamps wrong. Same for Emby. Plex is the only one that does it right.

This is a known direct rip of https://introdb.app

introdb.app is supposedly in the works of being added to infuse.
The act of adding a product produced in bad faith to infuse, would show a great lack of morals on infuse’s part

Ehh. Dude admitted his fault and that he was working on making it right. He also mentioned that his API is different and supports more things. And so far, I have to agree with him. He’s also open sourcing the plugins. So yea, TheIntroDB > IntroDB.

Let not resort to personal attacks.

You’ve got a very strange definition of “personal attacks”. Spreading misinformation should be met with a little resistance, in my opinion.
