Generally speaking I run all my hacked movies through handbrake using the apple preset and store them on external hard-drives and watch them through itunes streamed to my atv. I only use nito for a collection of short videos (various formats) i have gathered through email.
I have recently downloaded some foreign films with separate srt (subtitles) files. I have run them through handbrake attaching the srt to the video file. These subtitles work perfectly on the imac through quicktime but not on the atv through itunes. The handbrake manual indicates this is an itunes apple thing.
Anyway in a stroke of desperation I reviewed the nito data noting the quicktime plugins and thought I may be able play these movies through nito and get the attached subtitles, but no luck. Movies plays OK but still no subtitles. Any thoughts ?
