Subtitles Missing from .MP4 Files with External .SRT Files

Infuse Pro 4.3
tvOS 10.0.1 (14U71)
AppleTV model A1625

Tested Formats: .AVI .MKV .MP4 .SRT

Resources: Using Subtitles, Subtitles and Audio Tracks

Hello,

Subtitles are not working on .MP4 files using .SRT subtitles.

When searching Open Subtitles from the Infuse Pro app( Swipe down for more info > Subtitles > Get more > “Unable to locate matching subtitles. Please reload metadata and try again.” ) I also am unable to find importable subtitles.

So far I’ve tried:

  • Manually changing Metadata from Infuse Pro app
  • Manually changing Metadata from .MV4 files on macOS
  • Testing external .SRT files on different formats(.AVI, .MKV, .MP4)
  • Check that file format names match exactly to their paired .SRT subtitle file

The only formats I’ve been able to get .SRT to work with are .AVI and .MKV.

Infuse Pro can not find .SRT when watching .MP4(it’s missing or doesn’t load?)

Is this a bug? Is there something I am missing here?

At this point there isn’t any additional testing I can do at this level. Please help guys and thanks for the great app.
