Subtitle fonts and custom sizes

Hi guys,

I really, really like this player, the UI is very nice and clean and it provides lots of handy features.

The one thing I am really missing though, is the ability to change the font of the subtitle. Other competitors (such as GoodPlayer) would offer this feature but they are all missing some of the great features your player provides (DTS support for example). I constantly find myself switching between players and I would really like to settle with Infuse, but the default subtitle font really bugs me. I would like to be able to change the typeface.

Also, it would be nice if I can choose the font size as well (this feature is also available at some competitors). I know there’s three available sizes you provide (small, medium and large) but I would tend to choose a size in between small and medium. Small is too small for my taste and medium is too large, so I would rather pick a number instead (such as 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, etc).

I might be fairly obsessed with details but considering subtitles are a big thing for foreign users, I believe these are must have features.

Thank you and I really hope you’ll consider implementing this as I’d like making Infuse my default player.
And once again, great job on this project!

Thanks for the kind words.

Customization for fonts is something we’re working to add for a future version, and we can probably add more options for size as well.

Thank you, James! This is much appreciated.

I was using for a long time Plex but saw Infuse now I am using Infuse. Very nice program to meet my every need but one thing I need: Acmesa style font. This matter is super. Thank you.

Guys, I’ve yet to test this on Infuse, but can’t we use Apple’s default implementation of the font style and customization?! I know the font choice is limited, but at least we can change the size.
