Subititles visual glitch on tvOS letterboxed content

Hi, I’ve noticed a subtitle visual issue in the tvOS version of Infuse.

When I play a movie or TV show that doesn’t fill the entire screen (with black bars at the top and bottom), the subtitle line appears to have a visual glitch when it’s positioned directly above the bottom black bar.

This doesn’t happen when the video fills more of the screen or when there are no black bars at all.

I use default font, small size and my vertical alignment is +1.

I hope you see it on the attached video, sometimes the glitch is more visible when there are two lines instead of one

I watched the clip 10 times, and fail to see the glitch, please explain what it is exactly that you are seeing?

it’s not easy to capture and I think you can upload clips only below 15mb, how about now? try make it full screen it should be better.

it may be not very visible here but it’s annyong when it happens with almost every line throughout the whole movie/episode

In this video I think I saw it. It’s the white blips right below the subtitle characters when the title appears and when it disappears, correct? If so, what happens if you move it further up, do the blips still occur? To me it seems like the subtitles are rendered incorrectly (to low, to bright, and slightly shiftet) for a frame or two.
