Infuse AppleTV 8.4.3 20-APril-2026, tvOS 26.4 (23L243)
I get bad stuttering immediately on playback from my Jellyfin server. The same media plays back perfectly from Infuse iPad and the Jellyfin GoogleTV app.

How is it connected? WiFi or Ethernet?
What protocol? If it’s SMB have you tried SMB2 or Legacy?
It’s a WiFi connection, but other videos of similar bitrates seem to work and the connection stats view seems to be showing sufficient bandwith.
It should be getting the video over HTTPS from the Jellyfin server.
Maybe run an Infuse speed test on one of the problem videos and let it run to completion then post the results here along with a screen cap of the graph.
Seems like there is no connectivity issue, and the video file plays back smoothly in Jellyfin and Infuse/iPad. What is wrong with AppleTV?
What model ATV?

It looks like you have a first gen Apple TV 4K, and this device isn’t quite as powerful as the other Apple TV 4K models. There are cases where it struggles to upscale 1080p HDR/Dolby Vision videos to 4K and this can result in playback issues like you described.
You may try changing the Apple TV’s video output from 4K to 1080p to see if this helps.
That’s it. Dropping output resolution for the AppleTV to 1080p (Dolby Vision) gives me buttery framerate and switching back to 4k immediately shows frame loss.
The unit can totally play 4k h264/h265 files, and it seems super-strange that it can’t handle scaling a 1080p stream to a 4k output, but there you go.
