Love my Firecore, however, after I converted several .MKV movies files to HD MP4 I’ve noticed that quite a few of the converted files have stuttering throughout the movie while watching with my ATV2, but the audio is perfect. However, when I play them on my iMAC i7 I have no detectable problems. Does anyone know why this might be?
I’ve tried everything that I know of to do and even upgraded my Firecore file today. But, the problem still exists. Ironic that I went ahead and converted the files because they were too large and causing buffering issues. Now some of the MKV files play good, but the MP4 files are stuttering, choppy, etc.
Surely appreciate an outpouring of thoughts before I got crazy and saw my ATV2 in two!
BTW, I also just purchased an ATV3 and am waiting on Firecore to come through with the software for this one.
