I have uploaded strm file links for my movies - they work fine from recently added, pick of the day - but not from favourites or film genre categories. In favourites they link to titles that are not strm but different films that play direct on infuse.
Same problem on all my devices - tv, ipad and iphone. Any idea what is going on here.
Just to confirm, are these links to movies which have been purchased from Apple? If so, you would want to use a .strmlnk file isntead of .strm. These files are similar, but they serve different purposes.
A .strm files contain a direct link to a playable video.
A .strmlnk file contain a link to a 3rd party service, such as Apple TV+, Netflix, Paramount, etc..

hi James - seems to be working fine on my macbook now - but on the tv running tvos 26.2 (23K5046a) keep getting message - An error occured - failed to read the file with url (empty stream). this is for strmlnk files. any suggestions. Thank you.
the problems i am having is related to list view - changed to poster view and this works fine . On list view just shows the error message - does this is on all my devices. I have now switched off the list option and seems to be okay.
