I use Emby, and I use STRM files to wrap the real playback addresses, with Nginx performing a 302 redirect. The issue I’m encountering is that, except for H.264 format, others cannot play and keep loading in a loop.
We have encountered a critical issue that is not isolated but has affected hundreds of users, including myself. This widespread problem has significantly disrupted functionality and requires immediate attention.
Given the scale of the issue, I urge the development team to prioritize its resolution and provide an update on the status as soon as possible. This is an urgent matter, and a delay in addressing it will impact a large user base.
Please acknowledge this report and let us know the timeline for a fix or any temporary workarounds.
Thank you for your swift action.
I have this issue too. fix it please. Thanks.
Yes I’ve encountered that too, it’s a huge problem,So I didn’t update and it’s still 8.0.5 please fix it Thanks
If you have a moment, can you send in a quick report from your device so we can look into this?
Would you be able to elaborate on the issue you are seeing?
Since you’ve cut off the header request of the user-agent, we can’t play it using the URL address now.
I need the 302 redirect function.please fix it,thanks
I have sent a quick report from my device and logs from the Emby Nginx server. If you need anything else, please let me know.
senpalyer 播放器是有ua请求,这导致我们现在无法播放网盘直链文件
Mod Edit for Translation:
The senpalyer player has a UA request, which makes it impossible for us to play the network disk direct link file
i need 302 ,please fix it
Thanks for the reports.
We are looking into this issue.
My situation is a bit different. There is a User-Agent, but it only makes one request, successfully returns a 206 response, and doesn’t request again. In this state, Infuse cannot perform operations or return to the previous screen; it automatically switches to the next video.
From the request, there doesn’t seem to be any difference. My current issue is that H.264 formats can play, but other formats cannot; they keep loading endlessly.
Playing strm files on the Emby server will not report PositionTicks.
We have a fix for this available in TestFlight today.
We have limited ability to test this here, so if we can get a few people to confirm this resolves the issue we will plan to release 8.0.7 with the fix on the App Store early next week.
Here is a link you can use to download the 8.0.7 beta in TestFlight.
It’s still not working; the issue persists.
Your issue may be a little different. Was this happening prior to 8.0.6?
Can you please send in a new report from your device and post the code here?
Version 8.0.5 works fine.
