Streaming Cache not showing in the seekbar when streaming video in Infuse 8

Hello, in versions prior to version 8, we could see how much of the video had been loaded while streaming from a server, displayed on the seek bar.
However, in version 8, this functionality seems to be missing/gone.

What do you have in settings for Streaming Cache?

Didn’t notice this until I saw your post, yes I’m seeing the same. I’m using “memory only” streaming cache, Emby server in direct mode.

I have Streaming Cache set to “Auto”

This is still present, but the colors are a little less contrasting than before. This is something which will be adjusted.

When watching videos on IOS, the problem of the cache bar disappearing has existed for two months, I believe that such a long time Infuse team should have noticed that this is a very impact on the experience of the bug exists, according to the team’s development efficiency, this bug should have been fixed early, but the existence of the long time is outrageous, I hope to be able to fix the bug as soon as possible, every time you play the video! I don’t know how much is cached every time I play a video, I don’t dare to drag the progress bar. Meanwhile, the long-press acceleration gesture has been proposed for several years, but the Infuse team’s neglect of this feature is also infuriating, maybe the team needs to abandon some stubborn views, and pay attention to some practical features that users have been calling for a lot instead of sticking to their own views. After all, youtube also supports long-press gestures, so it’s clear that the team at a big company like Google also evaluated the importance of this feature.

The colors of the cache bar have been updated in the 8.0.5 version to provide improved contrast and visibility.
